Melt ½ cup butter in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Add flour, and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add potatoes, turnips, garlic, salt, sage,
and cream; cook until potatoes are
just tender, about 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°. Place greens in
a 12-inch skillet. Pour potato mixture over greens.
